Jody Crutch were a Long Island melodic hardcore/punk band that existed for a couple of years in the mid-90s by four friends who met at Hofstra University. The band played some local shows, recorded a demo, broke up for a few months and reformed briefly, wrote some more songs, but never played out again. The band was only ever Richard Opalsky (v), Rob Sklar (g), Dan Weiss (b) & Jeff Kaplan (d).
